Butch Jones: Evidently not able to get it done in 2015 because of what happened in 2009. Acknowledging reality is miserable. Drink the kool aid, stick your head in the sand, and marvel at the emperor's clothes. The Vols are back baby!

Some people don't want to wait more than a couple years for a NC but in my mind, if Tennessee improves every year, they will win the NC. So until UT stops winning more games than the previous year I will keep enjoying the ride, even if it takes longer than some want.

Its certainly hard to deny the improvement in this team half way through year 4. Anyone who thinks that Butch can win big in Knoxville hasn't been paying attention to this team and the upgrade in talent that he has recruited to this team.

I may be in the minority but the loss to A&M this year feels a lot better than the loss to Arky last year even though we lost by a wider margin.

Winning that game would have been an incredible feat... yeah I know they only turn it over a couple times and they probably win... but in a sense, they shouldn't have been in that game and shouldn't be in the Bama game.

If both ut and a&m take it to Bama, we've got to seriously reconsider the strength of our team. Right?

Even though it was a loss by a few more points, it does feel like an improvement... especially considering the circumstances.

I think the most important factor this year is we are playing with half a deck on the defensive side of the ball. Even then, I think we have a decent chance to win if we have no more injuries. We would have beaten A&M even with all the turn overs if we had a full roster last Saturday. Facts are telling if one takes the time to look at them.

To fair, Toledo was pretty good team last year. They spent a good portion of the year ranked.

Now Ark SHOULD have beaten them, but then again TN SHOULD have beaten Ark whether they lost to Toledo or not.
