While watching video of yesterday's practice, I noticed this written on Monte and some of the other coaches' shirts.

How appropriate for this team. This staff.

Just about every media member has spent the last seven months telling their readers/listeners/viewers what the Volunteers can't do this year. No QB... can't win... No Head Coach that has been head coach for a single down in college football... not enough offensive playmakers...poor D line depth.. can't win... can't win... can't win.

What does this staff and team do. Just go to work. Furiously recruiting. Furiously working to improve in the weight room and running. All work, all the time. The kind of effort that makes one think that just maybe, 'can't' maybe could.

Some people have that innate ability to make others believe impossible is nothing. I've come to believe Lane Kiffin is one of those people. When you have a vision, and can convince others to join you on the quest... when all are willing to make the effort, put in the time... then you can do what others cannot fathom. You can win. You can even win quickly.

This could just be something to see, this season. Stay tuned.

Preach it, Brother, preach it! I noted that John Adams in today's column advised that we write off the Florida game. I say B*****T! That's why we play the game. I like what I see thus far and I ain't conceding nothing.

Great spring practice, total team buy-in, great freshman class, no summer incidents of note.....

I'm like the Donald Sutherland character in Kelly's Heroes....." With that many positive waves, we can't lose."

Sorry, but this is a bit funny. Sure it does fit the team, but you have to admit it's kind of funny that after that whole post, it turns out it's just the Adidas slogan and not something clever the coaching staff came up with.

Yes that is the adidas slogan.

They have also used this quote in some adidas pic's & commercials.

I think "Impossible is nothing" is what Yoda told Luke when he was whinning about having to levitate his x-wing fighter out of the Degobah swamp.
