I think he's the only one that thinks Creer will be a "Starter" by Mid season.

Stranger things have happened. With the uncertainty of Coker and the fact that our backs have been getting injured as of late, I guess it's a possibility.

This guy is supposed to be an expert? It is very unlikely Creer jumps Hardesty unless he gets hurt. McKnight is NOT going to jump over the 6 or 7 guys still ahead of him. Berry is not getting a look because UT is thin... nor should he be any lower than 2 on this list.

It is pretty wild that he has Creer on this list. Who would have guessed that one? Creer has had a nice fall, though. But still, number 2? Ahead of Berry? With Foster and Hardesty with us, and Coker likely back by Florida or just after? Ok...I think that is enough question marks. .... Of course, I wish all these guys the best. Competition at these spots doesn't hurt anyone..may the best man win.

It wouldn't be worth having journalists if they aren't allowed to go out on a limb. Lennon Creer has tons of talent, but he just has to put it to use. Sure he wasn't one of the top one or two backs in the country, but his SITUATION may be better than someone else, which is why he's on the list.

That and maybe he saw last weeks scrimmage. haha

Definitely a stretch with Creer, but not completely unlikely.

Yes. Berry IS getting a serious look as a possible starter because UT is thin in the secondary, and yes, it is possible that Creer could become UT's starter by midseason if Coker remains off the team. Foster and Hardesty have not proved themselves.

I wouldn't say that Berry is getting a look just because the CB slot is thin .... I think that we can all agree that he is not your average Freshman. If we were three deep with AA talent, then obviously he woudln't be getting a look - I agree. But, his getting a look isn't completely a consequence of "thin" talent.

Fixed.

Good to see we have some reps, but the two should definitely be switched. Creer is only on the list because Coker got suspended. If Foster nor Hardesty can stay healthy, Creer could have a huge impact. I have said for a while that I think he could come in and be our most complete back from the get-go which is pretty impressive.

In saying that, I think his list is junk. Some guys belong, some don't. He must have randomly picked top rated players and inserted them in some order.
