Imagine if we would have played UCLA as our first game of the season. You think our fan base is in meltdown mood right now? If we saw that product on the field in game 1, after all that hype, everyone would be calling for Kiffin's head.

All the 1st game did was build up our own hot air about how good we were hoping we were. This game just let all the air out.
I think had we played UCLA 1st it might have been better, yes everyone would have been upset and I'm sure there would be some calling for Lanes head, but I think most would have just lay it at the feet of "it's a rebuilding year" and moved on. IMO

True, but I still think people would look at our offense and say "CLK didn't change anything".
