Oh no. You just don't get it. We have a resident expert who says no one thought either of these guys were any good.As far as stars go, we all know that doesn't matter that much. Stephens was the #15 PS-QB that year and Sam Bradford, last years Heisman trophy winner as a sophomore was only #12. Bradford was also a 3 star with a 5.7 rivals rating just like Stephens.
Another little tidbit that many don't know is that those things are sometimes arbitrary as to whether they get 3 or 4* at 5.7 or 5.8. Both recruiting svcs only allow a certain % of 4/5* as a form of quality control.
