With all these injuries no way do we win that game. And if we start slow which we will we can't come back on Bama from 21 down. Saban will keep them attacking. I am worried about more injuries because how can backups stay healthy fighting against starters?

Here's a stat for you of the top of my head:

In our last 19 games, we've had the lead late in the 4th quarter or in overtime of 18 of them and the 19th one, we only lost by 4.

We can play with anybody.

Not a fan of your posts but spot on here and thanks for the stats brother!

You should be. We fumble a lot. But Lord help the team we're playing if we ever put it together. Could be Bama

I was more worried about A&M than Bama. If we can keep the ball and not commit 7 turnovers the Vols can beat Bama!

Watch Bama nearly as much as I do my Vols. This year most of the time they seem so damn good they are boring. Hope it's just who they've played. Ole Miss made them look about avg. With our type of play we may make them be the same as Ole Miss. We can win this.

Same song, second verse. If we get behind A&M, we'll get blown out of the stadium. GBO!

I agree. We would beat Bama with a healthy team. The injuries have been absolutely devastating, there's no way around it.

VOLS have solidified a reputation of not giving up. Bama knows we won't quit. They will have to play 4 quarters to beat us. They better pace themselves.

Bunch of scared little kids in this thread. We might lose but giving up before the game hasn't even started makes you look silly.

Bama's defense already has 8 freaking touchdowns this year. We turn the ball over against them and they'll blow us out of the stadium. We have to play a smart, disciplined game with minimal/no turnovers. I think we can score on them, 35-38 points. But if we don't play much better defense and secure the ball for the first time this year, they'll hang 50+ on us IMO.

Anybody saying they are not worried about the Bama game is delusional. Tennessee is going to show up and give Alabama their best. I think with all of our injuries, we just wont have enough to win. I hope I am wrong and we run them out Neyland.

I am just hoping we get to the point where they stop repeating their mistakes.

I also hope they are not an overly creative team who finds exotic ways to create new ones.

Some claimed they would whip some azz. And they would if they just stop whipping their own.

We beat Bama. I guarantee it.

We put those mouth-breathing sister lovers in their place and make them like it.

Of course, we have the talent and the power on this team to play with anybody. For all practical purposes, the mission to rebuild this team since Dooley left has been accomplished. They have recruited for depth, speed, strength, and every other skill needed to contend for championships. Future classes will be more about maintaining, and less about rebuilding. In fact, they now can beat anybody.

But they have to stop beating themselves.
