I just watched the presser again and I can't say enough how impressed I came away with CEO. His fire, determination, and character just jumped right out and fired me up! I'm ready to sign up right now! I can sure see why recruits are going to want to play for this man.

Didn't know that much about Orgeron before learning that he might be coming to UT as a coach and recruiting coordinator. Despite all the "YAW YAW YAW FOOTBAW" threads, he seems like a huge bonus to the staff. He seems full of energy, is able to articulate the vision for UT football that this staff has, and gave some good answers regarding why some players were left free to seek other programs...

Personally, I'm willing to give coach O and the rest of these guys the 4 or 5 years that they need to actually realize the vision they have for this team. The thing that strikes me the most is that this isn't just a coaching change, it's a changing of the entire culture and approach to football at UT...

Time will tell. I've supported UT football for over 30 years, and will continue to do so. They represent my home state that I am very proud of, they represent a university that I have admired for as long as I can remember. I will continue to support UT and the football program there, and wish the best of luck to this staff, because whatever is good for the staff is also good for the football program I hold so dear.

GO VOLS!!!

This is sort of a dumb statement. All they did was come in and get Eric Gordon, the 3rd best player in the state (formerly a Bama lean) and Marsalis Teague, the 4th best player in the state (formerly a Florida commitment), and lets not forget about the projected #1 prospect in the state for next year!!

But you're right, life is over since we didn't get Marlon Brown, right?:no1:

We lose one kid, albeit disappointing, it is not the deathblow that some are predicting.

I wonder how many people understand the kind of player we got in Richardson. He is an unbelievable player. My friends down here are in a state of shock. Like one turd fan told me today, "I officially HATE your coach." They did nothing but laugh at Phil, now they are actually concerned.
