Kids are fickle especially when it comes down to the wire. Instead of loading up official visits with games, looks like he has loaded it up right around signing time with big time prospects that remain very uncommitted such as Jernigan, Maggitt, Lane, etc...

His in-home visits from the reaction of recruits seems to be one of the best, and then the dinner at his mansion and the other things he does on official visits work some magic.

agree 100%. We are on the verge of a top 15 class in the nation with Dooley getting a later start than most on the class of 2011. The future is bright up on the hill. GBO!

I thought that was so dumb throughout the year, and thought (besides some of the substitution issues) one of the biggest negatives to his first year as head coach here. That is what I get for thinking, because it is a brilliant move on his part.

If I'm Dooley, I'm looking at the product we were about to put on the field....harder to say "Hey, I know that was awful and boring and the fans were miserable...but, come to UT!"

Having officials now means the staff can control the visit, rather than the visit being punctuated with sloppy play as the young team fights to grasp our new system.

Yeah he has a reason for everything that he does. He is very mythotical.

May be my favorite VolNation post of all time. It is either ridiculously clever, ridiculously Freudian, or just plain ridiculous, but I now have a new favorite word.
