By the lack of respect for Tennessee still. Nobody wants to give us respect...NOBODY. Not the talking heads, not vegas (-3 really?). NOBODY.

Do people just not see it yet? Do people not want to acknowledge it yet? Just what is going on here because it's weird. We are better than people give us credit for and only getting better.

We just need to keep playing well and not worry about respect from the talking heads. When we keep winning, respect will come!

This. Plus, let's beat UGA to take a commanding lead in the East, then we will deserve more respect. At this point we are still starring down three straight tough games in a row. People are skeptical until we lock up the East by beating UGA.

Well, alabama hasn't played a complete game yet. They have bad starts, against lesser opponents. Personally I think we have played whole games. We just troubles catching the ball in that first half against florida but we got it squared away.

Don't care about respect.... It's overrated. Just win and let the rest of that **** take care of itself. This team plays better anyway when it's a us against the world.

Cut the game off at halftime and when they caught the final score, probably figured Florida turned it over 6 or 7 times

We need a solid performance this week. We have had so much disappointment over the past decade. The media hyped us up so much in the off season, I think we all believed too much. We played some nice football Saturday!! I think they believe in themselves in a greater way after kicking the gator's butt!! Hang in there fan's!! We need to show everybody we mean business.. One game at a time!!! Go Vols!!

Even the voters are undervaluing us it seems to me. It's almost like we are being set up or something. :eek: I'm starting to get paranoid. hahaha

I think we are a really blessed good football team and nobody wants to admit it or something.

Its OK with me. When we played OU last year, then UF and Alabama, I knew were were one of the best teams. No matter who we played we went toe to toe with them. I'm not a Homer. We are one of the best. I hope the doubters keep on. Like Mr Jefferson use to say," Wheezy, we are moving on up"

As for the poll Ole Miss should not be #16 with two losses.

Until we put two halves together and our foot on teams throats it is what it is. If we're undefeated going in to the Alabama game and can win that game they will not be turning a blind eye to us anymore.

Not a bad place to be actually... no respect will keep this team hungry, and they need to feast over the coming weeks.

I guess it's better to be undervalued then over valued at this point. But man we are sitting in a VERY good position with a team that can do some real damage here. What is it... 10 games in a row now? I honestly think we just come out next week and take care of business like we are supposed to. Alabama will be coming off an arkansas game and they are looking more beatable then they have in a number of years. Unless you think TAMU is going undefeated they got to lose one right? Think about it. I don't see why others aren't believing is all.

Screw respect. We played our best after we were poor mouthed after 3 subpar showings. When the love was flowing, we didn't have that edge.

They are not impressed with 1 good half of football in 4 games. Tennessee will have plenty of time to get their respect.

It'll come.

The media doesn't want to buy into Tennessee just yet because no one wants to be told you so.
