Our stale, boring, outdated, un-imaginative,un-exciting program is a lot better off with him at the helm.

They will refuse to fail. Especially after listening to him and Coach O talk.

It was obvious to anyone who even casually follows college football that we were going downhill and picking up speed. A change was essential. People will always argue that whatever change was made was the wrong one. I just don't understand the negativity after only a few weeks on the job.

Phil would tell you he could sprinkle some magic dust on it and make it all better.

Yes it was a predictable offence.

I could set and watch the formations.Think oh no not
again, not that play in this situation.Watch the defense move to counter knowing they knew the correct defense to counter with.Watch it all unfold, thinking to myself if I can see it develop how is it that they can't.

Used to drive me crazy.:banghead2:

I agree completely. So far so great with this staff, but no one can see into the future and know how it will all work out on the playing field.

One thing is for certain, I am as excited about Tennessee football as I have been in a long time. Since the '98 run perhaps.

Loved Chavis. Loved how our defese played overall. Hated the stale offense.

The thing I hope to never see again is teams go 4 out of 7 on 3rd and 12 or longer. Never could understand our corners playing 10 yards off the receivers, even on 3rd and short......

Well for sure the offense won't be the same old boring crap We are used to...Not expecting miracles right off the bat but improvement is always nice...I guess We will find out soon enough if Kiffin can really coach or if He full of smoke...He sure looks timid during interviews and that makes me a bit nervous when he takes the field...but here's hoping he gets it done.

Not in denial, Just curious...the only time any of us have seen him in action was with the Raiders and that was nothing but a disaster and not his fault but you know what I'm saying...He's certainly got the right mentoring and training so We'll see what the football gods have blessed us with.

I agree! We needed a change, and Kiffin hasn't don anything to give anyone a reason to be mad at him. Sure he has told a few recruits that they don't fit his system, but you have to respect the fact that he was upfront and honest with them!

Ashville Vol. . .I couldn't agree with you more!! I've come to realize that some people just always complain and look for the negative in everything. . .for them the cup is always half empty, and I personally have no time for them. Why in the world would someone post such negative crap and trash a new coach - before he's even coached a single game??!! :banghead2:

Looking at the Rivals and Scout sites tells you that there is such widespread differences of opinion in how good each school's efforts panned out! For an example Penn State was rated #10 in one and #23 in the other! The fact that we stole not one, but two potential stalwarts right out from under the Gator's nose was nothing short of brilliant!

It's all good with Kiffin! :good!:
