Texas A&M was the only game on our schedule that truly worried me the most. My reasoning is that College Station is a difficult place to win and I always felt like they were better than what the media gave them credit for. Not to mention that the injuries didn't cost us the game but they certainly didn't help. We took them to double overtime and had plenty of opportunities to come out with a win but we failed to execute. We lost but this should give our boys a boost of confidence that they can beat anyone in the country if they just limit turnovers. Bama is Bama. We're all very aware of that but I haven't been this confident about beating Bama in some quite time now. I feel like we have the talent, the mentality, and the resiliency that we've lacked under the Dooley years. I'm not guaranteeing a win but I would not be surprised if we squeak out a win against the #1 team in the country in front of over 100,000 screaming Vol fans. No need to feel scared, it's time to kick some Roll Tide a$$!

Remember the Florida game this year?? how much of an impact we the fans had on that game?? Home field advantage is a very real thing... ask the kid from Oklahoma that wrote the article imploring their fans to be like us in their game against Ohio St. earlier this year. I agree with you completely, before the season started the A&M game was the most concerning because they have some truly loyal fans. That game played at a neutral site plays out completely different. I'm so glad Bama had to come it the madness that is (or at the very least can be) Neyland Stadium! We can definitely help our team out this Saturday... if everybody wearing orange, white or grey will give everything they've got to impacting Bama the way we did Florida in the second half this year... should make for a very special afternoon/evening! Go Vols!!!!!

Mite have two starters back that we were missing last week so an argument could be had

It will definitely help.

Got a bad feeling we re down 2 OLs + a DL for sure. Hopefully everyone else is 100% and ready but that would be a miracle.

I agree! For first time this year, watched Bama play a bit last Saturday. I think we have the better team.

Bama's best player from last year is currently sitting on the bench in Nashville. The Titans have a terrible team, therefore Bama must not be all that and a bag of chips.

I'm not. Far less actually. I have a really bad feeling this gets out of hand. Really hope I'm wrong.

So are most people. AtM is not near the team that Bama is. Not sure how anyone could realistically feel more confident about being Bama more than just about any other team in the country. With that said, we can beat Bama as long as we win the turnover battle and not get behind early.
