Anyone have any suggestion for me for food/attractions in the Beale St. area. I am thinking Automatic Slim's tonight, then the bars again.

Blues City and The Rendezvous have great ribs. I don't think the Redbirds are in town. Cruising the bars on Beale can be fun...

I would agree with Hman on this issue. If you get a chance, slide down to Tuinca and win some $$$. :)

Just go to Beale and walk around. You'll find something to do. Most everything there is worth a look.

Double Deuce is officially my favorite Memphis bar. I got my ass thrown off the mechanical bull pretty quickly last night, of course I was hammered so that might have had something to do with it.

I hear ya man. That place has only been there for like a year, kind of still new. If you are still here in Memphis go back again tonight and check out the chicks that hangout up stairs. :)

If you want the poker room, drive a little further down and go to Sam's Town. You'll enjoy it more than any of the one's at Casino Strip with Horseshoe et al.

Played a tournament at Grand Casino. I finished 6th, not too shabby. Had some bad luck or I probably would have done much better. One of the guys that went with me won it and $600.

It's cool though, I got most of my buy-in back when the table decided to throw money together for an "on the bubble" payout to the guy that finished one out of the money, which was me, and I felt like I played as well as I possibly could.

I racked up $200 dollars playing roulette though. Terrence is my boy!
