If UT doesn't get their down field ( at least 5 yards pass the los ) pass game fixed, we will not be playoff material!

How is Clemson gouging Bama? They are balanced run and pass, but they are executing the pass game. Something we are poor at.

Perfect and execute slants, then the intermediate routes, then the deep ball!

As many changes that are being made this off season I truly believe our pass game will see some changes as well. That was our biggest weakness this year and I suspect it will be addressed. If not then it could be a long season.

This is something they will dwell on in the offseason. I'd expect a lot of improvement by next season. As you said, it is a must

You are correct. Also notice, their offensive line is giving him decent time back there. Their receivers are getting open, but you are correct, Watson is putting it on the money.

That last pass Watson threw wasn't so nice. Look Dobbs is obviously not a super accurate passer right now but we didn't throw down the field enough this year. The more we throw the better he'll get and it'll soften up the coverage a little...if if we don't complete them all. I think that was one of the real issues.

You are right. But I think one problem is that big time receivers will want to go to a pro style offense. Look at Alabama, Ole Miss, Oklahoma. We lost the Alabama and Oklahoma games because their WRs made big plays when it was needed. Josh Malone has to step up big time next season.

We can have a similar passing game and still dominate. We will improve in most other areas of play, except maybe kick returns, and as long as we don't take major steps back in that regard we will be just fine.

Not going to happen with Butch. Putting Dobbs under center was a good first step, but the execution was terrible. I think we're
in for more of the same next year.

Correct me if i am wrong but, did we not lead bama with less than 5 minutes to go in the game and the defense couldn't stop them? That issue has been addressed with the hiring of Shoop. And was that game not played in Tuscaloosa?
