diligently to avoid revisiting the past as we step into a new era of UT football. It will be difficult, as there as still some Fulmer-diehards and those who apparently fear change clinging to a championship 10 years removed that continue to beat a dead horse. However, I urge us all to move on and look upon our future with hopeful eyes and an excitement that is new to most Vol fans.

Here's to 2009 and beyond.

Go Vols.

You might as well get ready to beat off the fulmerites with an ugly stick whenever we lose from now on. They will take any opportunity to preach on how big a mistake this hire was.

The Fulmerites won't have to do a thing... it will be the same people who crucified Fulmer that will rage on Kiffin. If he doesn't win.

Unless he has a worse record than Phil from 2001-2008, he will be worth it on some level. The question is if he can do something like Pre- 2000 Phil, but that kind of run seems improbable (and Phil proved he couldn't strike lightening twice). Frankly, if we fail to develop a QB and offensive line next season we are going struggle until Kiffin (or whomever) can recruit the right kids.

CPF is gone, he did have a great record here, but it's time to look to the future. Kif was'nt my 1st pick, but I'll stand by the hire. I think its going to be a big change in a lot of aspects on the hill.Bring in the right people and I think we've got a winner.
