Worse loss since 44-0 against GA in 81.
39 yds on 21 carries says it all.

I can't say that I'm upset at Urb for not going for 2, but I can't honestly say that I wasn't pulling for it.

Have always thought that if you can't stop them from scoring, that's your fault, not theirs for scoring all they can. Talking about running up the score is for whiners.

I agree. Its amazing to me to hear Tennessee fans saying this. Usually other people think the "elite" teams like we once were run it up on them.

I guess thats proof we're nowhere close to that anymore.

I'm furious at him for letting Troy play the Gators closer than the Vols. Surely it's some sort of plan by Urban to make UT look bad. There's no way Troy and UT are near the same level. Right?

You are right about the "whining" if there was talk among the UT coaches about the Gators running up the score. If anyone should be complaining at all it is Florida because we sure didn't give enough of an effort to make them showing up for the game worth their time. Well, I guess we fans could complain, too. That was the most painful thing I have watched since we fumbled and bumbled away the bowl game against Penn State last season.

If teebow didn't run in the first quarter they would've hung 70 on us.Thats how bad that was.

I am kind of glad he did it, but it shows a classless nature which I didn't think UM had and I think it is very stupid to keep your QB in running plays up 30 points when there is no backup QB. That also give the other team a great deal of motivation the next year, just look at Cal and we turned off the dogs in the 3rd quarter. You do that crap against a team like say FSU and they would knock your QB in the dirt(out of bounds of course) Tebow gets hurt and there goes the season.

So as far as a UT fan, I am not whining, I wish he had gotten 60, maybe it will make a change at UT, but as an SEC fan or college football fan, it shows a lack of sportsmanship.

I was actually screaming for him to go for 2 there at the end. With our team running around feeling sorry for themselves is nice to know that someone doesn't pat them on the back and roll over. We're the university of Tennessee, there's no rule on not running up the score.

HAT me and 2 other Vols were all sitting around talking with 3:00 left in the 4th. We all wanted Fla. to keep scoring at that point and we were not even mad about it.

I missed our coaches whining about the late scores, although I did see some quotes from players indicating they resented it. What did the staff say?

Face it, at the end of the day if I'm going to lose to Florida, Georgia, Alabama or Auburn, I'd just as soon lose by a thousand combined points. Maybe then we can get some change.

Thank you Florida for illustrating just how bad we are.

Shows how much respect Urban has for Tennessee. You don;t run up scores against conference foes because you know there is next year, and the year after that, and . . .
Urban doesn't care. We are like Vandy to him.
