I take some comfort in the fact that Monte Kiffin is in the film room right now picking apart the FL offense. Monte Kiffin is drawing up a plan RIGHT NOW for our talented defense to stop the gators.

I take some comfort in the fact that, no matter how bad Crompton is and no matter what the talent gap is, CLK and Co. are working their tails off RIGHT NOW to come up with something...ANYTHING to stop the gators and move the ball.

I don't drink and I don't do cocaine, but what can I say? I'm feelin' it. Vols by 3.

If we can get somebody to introduce some H1N1 into the Gators en masse the maybe.

We may very well be the best D the Gators face all season. It's still going to be a D that, by the end of the game, is going to be trotting back out onto the field after a bunch of 3 and outs. And that's the good news. We're hoping to give them that much rest and not running back out after turnovers. They're going to be gassed by the end of the game 'cause I simply can't see Meyer not pushing for every yard and point he can get his hands on.

Honestly, for us to win by 3 we'll have to, you know, score at least 3. Outside of "wild card" stuff (pick 6's/punt returns/etc) what exactly is going to happen to allow a team that only managed 208yds against UCLA to outscore the defending NC? I love the idea but when I try to have us accomplishing that feat it keeps coming up 2+2=3. It just doesn't compute.

Oh our defense will be good if not great. But, they will be on the field for 58 minutes of the game b/c we can't gain a yard. Plus, I'm giving them 14-21 points as a result of turnovers that they run back to the house. I'm predicting a 48-17 type performance.

I agree, there is no doubt in my mind that they are doing all of the above. I have complete confidence in our coaching staff, its just that i have none right now in Crompton. I hope your prediction is right though, would be nice.

You know what? This made me chuckle a bit....soooo I'M IN TOO!!!! Vols by 10 and then when we leave the Swamp collapses into a sink hole!
