... Hines Ward. In tonight's wild card game, he's gotten in the face of a player after every catch. I liked him for a long time, but eh.

HA! I was thinking the exact same thing. I normally root for the Steelers but felt myself pulling for the Jags partly because of his crap.

I beat you to it. I disliked him when he played for Georgia.

I've never seen Hines as much of a trash talker. My first thought his defender must have been doing some serious trash talking.

He talks trash all the time.... it's part of the game. It's funny watching Hines do it cause it's usually after he levels them with a block.

I hated Hines when he was at UGA, but I love the way he plays the game. Crackbacks for all LBs

It looked like it was Reggie Nelson who was catching the most hell

Nothing wrong with that

i have no problem with Hines getting in someone's face. if there's anyone that can back it up it's him.

now there are several of his team mates, esp. on the def. side of the ball that will get up show boat, "guarantee" things and can't do squat. i have much bigger issues with some of those DB's that like to talk it but can't walk it than i do with Hines Ward.

I don't mind Hines, but I really hate the way Phillip Rivers carries himself on the field.

You and me both. Last year he talks about the Pats lack of class after their failure in the Playoffs. This year he is on MNF, on Christmas eve I think, mouthing off with Jay Cutler after absolutley killing them.

Also, even though it may be petty, the way the guy interviews gets on my last nerve. He doesn't know how anything happened, he talks with that "Man Awww Shucks I'm just glad to around great athletes and Aww shucks I'm just a good ole' boy from Alabama, these here are the big lights" tone.

It's like the guy is trying to be Brett Favre like he's just the average blue-collar guy that just happened to be a hell of a QB. Yet, he is failing, really bad.
