Fast-rising OT Marques Easley announced his plans to take an official visit to Tennessee in June. Tennessee has made Easley feel like a priority, as he is in talks with the staff on a daily basis. Georgia, Alabama, Florida and others have also thrown their name in the mix for the massive prospect from Illinois. He has picked up over 25 offers since November. He also plans to see Tennessee on March 31st for a spring practice as well.

Staying on offensive tackles, Marques Easley will take his first look at Tennessee at the end of the month. His stock has soared and he is having a lot of conversations with different staffs, Tennessee included. He is excited about this visit as he is intrigued by Tennessee’s offense and the chance to play in the SEC.

Marques Easley was excited to get his first last at Tennessee last weekend, and it didn’t disappoint the big-time offensive tackle. He liked the Vols a lot coming in and the visit only solidified that. He plans to return to Knoxville in mid-June for an official visit. Georgia, Alabama and Oklahoma are all key players in this one right now. A decision in the fall seems most likely here.

Will we still have a spot in the fall?
Yes, there is no signing limit. Just the 85 scholarship players, and a lot of Heupel’s 2021 class will be pushed out in my opinion. There was a lot of mediocrity in that class and we’re in on way too many studs this cycle and are knocking too hard on the door to allow numbers to dictate who we can and can’t take
