if you were cpf what would you have done differently against bama? just curious to see what everyone thinks.

first, i would have chosen to kick the ball after winning the coin toss.......

Got on my teams a$$ with all of the penalties.
No reverses!
No Creer for a trick draw play.
Thrown to Coker.
Put Hardesty in for short yardage.
Stop clapping
Stop playing so far off bamma recievers.
Rally my to to victory.

i guess this one is a no brainer, run the dang ball! foster was getting about 7 ypc! then throw the ball down field. i'd remember who was on my team too, when you do that it maybe time to retire! also what you said fine vol.

Kicked off to start the game.
Focused more on the run game.
Get Hardesty involved early and often. (Ahead of Coker)
Once the injuries happened, used Coker in the slot.
BENCHED JOHNSON AT CB. Probalby moved Berry back to CB and bring Parish in at S.
Gone for it on fourth and one at the 50. (Course, Creer wouldn't have run it on third, so we might have picked that up anyway.)

-play hardesty, creer, foster, and coker all and use effieceintly.
- cover hall better
- make it a 1D game for bama
- play bama rec. closer

i dunno why all you guys are electing to kick the ball, i know its just bc of what happened and obviously if you have ever played you know crap like that happens maybe once a year..no one saw it coming and you guys are blaming them for not seeing it when you didnt see it either.

The big problem with Fulmer and this coaching staff is not necessarily what plays are called on Saturday, but what transpires in pre-season practice and practice between Saturdays.

Because getting the ball at the start of the second half is more important to me than taking it first simply because they moved the ball back 5 yards. I don't understand the logic in completely changing your philosophy because of 5 yards.

I would have blitzed JPW all day long. I'd have sent linebackers, corners, safeties, coaches, trainers, fans, bandmembers...anything.

He threw to open receivers all day. The coverage couldn't have been any worse...so why not at least make him pay for throwing to all those open targets.

GAVOL.......nothing makes me madder than watching a defense drop in to coverage, let the qb sit back, and complete the passes anyway. and to continue to do it is infuriating.

if they're going to complete 70% and throw for 368 and 5 TD's anyway, throw the kitchen sink at 'em and at least look like you're trying to do something instead of just looking like a terrible pass coverage team, which we did.

absolutely. any incremental damage over and above that which was inflicted is moot.

Kicked to start the game (I would always rather get the ball back after the half)

Ran Arian until he puked, then proceed to do the same with Hardesty/Coker

Set up Gerald Jones or Coker on some one on one matchups in the slot

Blitzed the hell out of JPW (losing two starting OL does not bode well for blitz pickups)

i also would of went over to the bama side-line tap saban on the shoulder and gave him a stone cold stunner. then run like hell!
