Besides that Booby Miles haircut, right? :) He really is a good person so he deserves to make it. Celtics coaches are impressed with him so I pray he makes it to the regular season. I can promise you he'll out hustle 99% of people in the league.

University of Tennessee-Martin, an Ohio Valley Conference school. There was no real solid competition in conference but he dominated against teams like Vandy, Miss St, Memphis, etc.

It is probably tougher to make it as a pro in basketball than any other sport. Just says alot he made the roster, much less contributing.

I went to high school with a guy who plays second base for the Marlins. Unlike your stories, I do not have alot good to say about him. He went the other direction to get where he is, could have been alot nicer and is a major jerk.

Yeah he is. He has done good in the MLB when no one gave him a chance in Hades to be a contender. I still see him al couple times a year and his head is huge!

Just saw Lester playing on NBAtv for the Maine Red Claws of the Dev. League. He'll end up on a roster within the next season or so.

He actually played last night for the Celtics. Played 5 mins and had 2 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist. He's solid. It's just hard for him to get time on the court when he's on a loaded Celtics team. I promise you won't find a nicer guy, or a person that works harder to train, than Lester.

With Rondo and Pierce both out for tomorrow's game vs the Raptors, I hope he gets to see a lot of time on the floor.

In a 103-96 win over the Celtics, and 3 starters out, Lester played 12 minutes and shot 2-3 on FG's(1-1 from 3). 5 points, 2 boards, 2 assists. Not too bad Lester, not bad at all
