Again when this game or either school plays Florida, I root for a meteor followed by a comet hitting the stadium at halftime.

That’s like us saying we’ll beat the snot out of Florida in the swamp this year. Hasn’t Kirby only beaten Bama once? Don’t underestimate the psychological aspect of these games. The best team often doesn’t win

Our main competition for the SEC title game at this point due to the schedule is UGA, Bama, Texas, Texas A&M, LSU and Ole Miss

Our main competition for the playoffs is the same plus an outside chance of Oklahoma or Mizzou

We want everyone of these teams but UGA to have worse than 10-2 records for us to be guaranteed a spot at 10-2. I believe 10-2 gets us in anyway, but to be safe.

Also root against the following teams the rest of the season:

Indiana
USC
Big XII runner-up
2 of 3 of Miami/FSU/Ga Tech

This isn't different than when Florida and Georgia play every year in the World's Biggest Cocktail Party in Jacksonville. I used to pull for Georgia in that game every year. However, the past few years, I find myself pulling for the Gators.

The Georgia fans have become so insufferable since they've become a National Title contender every year. And Alabama are NOT the World beaters they used to be and their fan base has become more humble than they used to be. I don't want to pull for either, but I think I'd pull for the Tide over the Dawgs. It'll be an interesting game.

Don't forget that we'll also beat the snot out of bama because they must be really bad after that loss to USF. Oh and Miss St. is going to be a cake walk because we always curb stomp the SEC "have-nots" on the road.
