I was a Hulk-a-maniac as a kid in the '80's. But Mick Foley is my all-time favorite. Man put his body through hell to entertain the masses. That hell-in-a-cell match he did where they were taking him out on a stretcher...sure, the outcome was scripted, but he was truly hurt and being taken to the hospital. The roar of the crowd got him back up and back into the ring. At the end of the match, if you look closely, you can see one of his teeth hanging from his nostril. He had a gash under his lip he could stick his tongue through. He also had internal injuries. The man was straight up crazy.

Funniest gimmicks I remember:

Val Venis as a porn star. I remember some Japanese dude was gonna cut off his manhood with a samurai sword.

The Godfather with his Ho-Train.
