Why?

Improvement We have improved in the running game, the offensive line, covering kickoffs and punts, third down conversions, time of possession, defensive line and assistant coaches. we have not improved at two of the linebacking positions in the 3-4, in punting, in turnovers, and points scored against (defense). While I expected some problems in implementing the 3-4, I did not think it would be this bad. Injuries have hurt on defense, but not enough to cause the problems we are seeing. The defense appears to make some good adjustment at half time but seem to have breakdowns in the 4th quarter. Some of that is likely lack of adequate depth at LBs and DBs. On offense, we miss DRogers more than I expected and the lack of depth at RB. With a decent recruiting class, I expect to see continued improvement next year.
