If you could change the Titans logo and uniform design what would it look like? Also what would our mascot look like.

Not a fan of the helmet. Maybe make it blue with an updated logo

I love this. The uniforms are one reason it's hard for me to like the titans. Also never liked young or fisher . Really don't care for the coach now. I would like some black in the jersey. Maybe red and silver too. But the vol in me says rt hey should have made them with orange to begin with. Wasn't it the copperheads a name that was close to being picked? I'm just not a big fan of the color blue. It should be blue and another color not blue and blue. Hell I like the oilers jerseys better..I wish we were copperheads that was my vote .

Yes the copperheads was a name that was in my opinion going to be the team name and the bud Adams stepped in out of nowhere and made it the Titans. The uniform that was being discussed for the copperheads looked similar to Notre Dames uniform and instead of gold it would have been a copper color. This state is infested with copperheads and snakes in general. And yet they decided on the Titans with a raccoon as a mascot. Never been a fan since.

When I think of a Titan or titans I think of Ancient Rome and the Romans. The dark ages so to speak. Greek gods. So baby blue and white just don't mix. They are similar in color to the oilers. They should be a more dark and grey color of sorts. Also the mascot should fall in line with the theme. Sparty from Michigan St. Would fit very well.

I have never like the Titans uniforms.

I could never understand how they came up with the Titans name while being located in the capital of Country Music .

Colors don't fit the name.
Name does not fit Nashville
imo.

The Parthenon is the link to Greek mythology, and it is a pretty significant landmark in Nashville. As far as a link to music goes, I'm not sure the Tennessee Honky Tonks would've worked. :acute:

I like the Titans theme and the colors. I think everything could be updated, but I don't advocate radical change.

Our family has sat in the same seats since 1999, so I guess we're happy with the product in an overall sense. A return to winning playoff games would be nice though. Kinda got spoiled at the start, but that's a good thing, IMO.

Are you suggesting that the name should be based off of country music? You would be in a very weak minority.

The colors thing is pretty trivial. You could say that about most teams. Where's the correlation between Volunteers, orange, and a dog?

Let me play devil's advocate and present an image of the Greece's flag, a country with a strong history of Titanic mythology.

I have no idea if this is where they got the idea for the light blue, but I don't think it's any less of a stretch to say that than to say that the colors and the "Titans" don't match.

So if you want to think of that way, you could say the Tennessee Titans sounds better than the Nashville Slide Pickers or the Tennessee Copperheads, the light blue comes from the Greek flag connected from Titanic mythology, and the red, white, and dark blue come from the state flag.

The color orange has to do with the color of the daisies that grew on the Hill.

I love the blue and have a closet full of it. I'll be screwed if the colors get changed. :focus:

I honestly really like the light blue. Before we fully switched to them, my favorite jerseys were the Chargers'. I like the logo too. Sure, they could use some updating, but I think our jerseys look better than a decent amount of other NFL teams. Then again, I'm REALLY bias lol.

It's just a friendly discussion if someone could change something what would it be. Lord. The discussion isn't why the titans, colors, and mascot are the way they are. It's what could you change if you could is the main point.
