Good for you. Kiffin is being paid a lot of money to perform, and we are sending a clear message to win or we will not sit and watch this train wreck of a team. I have never seen a more inept offense at the D-I level. If you thought it was bad on TV then you should have seen it in person. We are Tennessee. We do not tolerate losing. I know the last few years have been rough, but there was a time when the "T" on our helmets was worth at least two touchdowns. It is a sad day to see fans latching onto moral victories. Kiffin needs to be held to a higher standard than other coaches because of the ridiculous salary that he is receiving. I am not one of those people that believe Nick Stephens would do any better than the "InCrompitant" one, but hell try anything. We will get the same results either way. This season is already poisoned. The players are down on one another, and know that they will not win many games. Send a message fans. Do not pay the high price for tickets. Do not pay the high price for concessions. If you like the gameday feeling, go tailgate and go home before kickoff. I know that some of you will be pissed off after reading this, and say that I am not a fan, but most fans cannot watch their beloved Vols fall to the depths that they have fallen to. I hate getting riled up for a game, and then being let down time after time. This is a bad product, and I am not buying. Now the floor is open for discussion.

Kiffin isn't even the highest paid coach in the conference. I believe there are several that are above him. Give the man some time.

Blame the administration and Phillip Fulmer for the depths to which it has sunk. Poor decisions all the way around are the reason we've arrived at this sad state. Going to a gun fight with a knife usually ends bad and it's no surprise.

The problem is not Kiffin, in fact, I feel that Kiffin is the the only chance we have to avoid being Vanderbilt for the next 10 years. If you are really educated about Tennessee's status in the SEC you will write a letter to Mike Hamilton and ask him why he did not fire Fulmer after the 2005 season.

Please tell me you are sterile so that your stupidity cannot spread any further. You are the typical fair weather fan or a fulmerite. Hey genius how does the Vols rank the past 3 yrs in the NFL draft compared to other SEC schools? The cupboard was left bare, get over yourself.

Uh, maybe last year. Can't remember if we were 115th in the nation or 116th in total offense.

With the talent we have this year, we would be a "bad product" with any coach. We could be 2-3 with talent coming in that we haven't seen since the Rodney Garner era, or we could be 2-3 with the same ole', soft recruits coming in that Fulmer accumilated for the past 8 years.

Yes, let's help our university by not giving them money. You have no logic. I really hope you are not in school over there because they must have really lowered their GPA and test standards for admission. Have patience.

I am just saying what most people are thinking. It is not sacrilege to criticize your team, even at a harsh level. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars supporting the Vols and the university throughout the past 20 years. I believe that I have earned the right to speak my opinion.

Opinion trumps facts every time.

I am 39 and my first game was Rutgers in 1977. I am a UT grad, and remember the dominant teams of the most of the 80's and 90's.

Congratulations on your education.

But if you truly believe and stand by what you wrote in the OP, then you shame that education by not knowing more concerning the subject you are posting about.

In other words, you're not retarded. Having an education and still believing what you wrote simply makes you stupid.

BTW, I'm older than you, and have a Ph.D.

Everything. Try me?

Strong recruiting classes and getting kids in and coached up to become players in the NFL translates to a winning program. Where does the Vols rank out of 12 teams in the SEC the past 3 yrs of sending players to the NFL?
