Let's not pretend like we didn't play poorly for about 48 minutes of this game. Shoop was out coached, and debord went back to the app State playbook for most of the game. Georgia beat us, but we came out with a win.

Kudos to Kirby smart for calling a pooch kick, and for whomever on special teams got that penalty. Kudos to Dobbs for slinging the perfect ball at a clutch moment.

I do not think that is how this works. I am pretty sure that the negavols on this site have told us again and again that outplaying your opponent and losing, i.e. a moral victory, is just as worthless as losing that game by three touchdowns.

Seriously, you guys need to pick one or the other. How much credit in the SEC East standings does Georgia get for "beating us"?

OP is exactly right. We all know this team has lots of room for improvement. But we are 5-0 for the first time in 18 years. Enjoy it. Unless you don't know how. Perhaps the political forums would suit you better.....

People will celebrate a huge win in different ways. Do you think the coaches will not critique the good and bad points of each game with the players? Of course they will.

My critique would be the kids are playing at an extremely high level, yes due to the coaching staff. Coaching staff is behind them on confidence in play calling. Fix that and this is a championship team. Go Vols!
