I've seen so many "Hey don't get excited remember our history they own us"..Who flipping cares about the past,is the past playing Sept 24th?There's a bunch more soft my heart pumps puppy pee posters but I'll spare u the cliffnotes we've all seen them.

Bottom line..Hell Yeah I'm cocky were gonna win.Im not gonna shy away from it or hide in a Gator jort jean pocket until the games over.This is the BEST opportunity we will have.They had a fresh FCS coach who's struggling,AR has a small 4 peice nugget meal of ints and I've thrown as many Tds as he has in college .He gimpy as is and can't pass and they have crap at backup.One slip up and he's done and we K-Town stomp on them.

Vols defense is playing the best it has,Offense has had some bumps but looked fine enuff for Top 5 in about every category on offense.Hendon isn't a heisman guy but he's been fantastic since stepping on campus.People that disagree just wanna bitch to bitch.Yes Tillman and Small might be out but outside of rb will be okay at wr.Were at home in Heupelz 2nd year weve been battle tested on the road against Pitt so we know what it takes.

In the end will Napier in 2 or 3 years with a better qb, system,recruiting probably playing in the swamp be any easy than this Saturday?I say no way so yes I'm very confident we can and should win.There really isn't ANY excuses you can give on why you shouldn't be supremely confident.If the team we all have seen and know shows up this is a W all day.

I agree that we shouldn't have a defeatist attitude. But a lot of us remember years when we were even more confident than you probably are and still lost to Florida, Bama and other opponents. So it's at least understandable that some will believe it when they see it.

How many times have folks said this is the year and the game shouldn't be close...I'm hopeful we'll win big time, not confident...Never underestimate our secondary's ability to make the opposing QB look like the Heisman Trophy winner...This will be a tough physical football game, and again I'm hopeful, but not very confident...

I believe this falls under more of a realist idea, for wanting to be cautious based upon our recent history with UF.

Besides, if UT doesn’t have a win over Florida by Saturday night, they may never get another one anytime soon.

See I understand why folks think that I'd be a fool if I didn't have a small bit of hesitation.I just see a well balanced veteran team.Offense is high powered and defense is good enuff especially for a team like Florida and AR.If this environment and recent success isn't our time then when will it ever be?

You kinda get what i mean.If Heupel is that guy and were really turning that corner like we all think then this game is one we should win no doubts.If we lose its not the end of the world but its very disheartening to think we need a generational talent at qb.Were never gonna have an elite defense but we can get better.

I agree wholeheartedly, we NEED to win this game, and you're correct, we have a veteran team, but we have some issues in the secondary and our OL play has been subpar in my book...

Too many Negavols who have more fun when Tennessee is doing badly. They don't have anything to bitch about when Tennessee is undefeated and playing well.

Good Lord people, control yourself. It'll be decided in the trenches, as always. This game is always too close to call. It'll be a dogfight. Praying for a victory, but most of all, safety for all.

I was pretty confident before the Purdue game. You have to show up and execute. No guarantees on Saturday, but I like our chances!

93,95,96,97,99, 2002,2005, 2014 2015, 2017 to name a few. Felt great the entire week and then walked out of the stadium in 7 of these dumpster fires nauseous and depressed. I am positive. and cautiously optimistic this week. God raises up the humble . 😄

After all the complaining I see after EVERY game about the refs being against us, I am surprised anyone would be confident about a victory.

Based on how our and Florida’s season is going so far, I am very hopeful for a victory but not confident enough to be surprised if we lost.

I'm still staying cautiously optimistic. I'm hoping for a real beat down of the gators, but I expect it to come down to who makes the least amount of mistakes.

I'm just preparing myself for a dogfight.
