Will the Vols decimated defense make Missouri's Offense look world class? Possibly

Would Missouri's defense that's giving up 400 yards a game to every team - even the mid-majors - be able to stop anything? Probably not.

And after what all the power 5 defenses have done to their offense, I'm not concerned (not that anyone should have any confidence in their passing game after LSU and UF got done with them).

I think the issue will be with our OL once again. Harris and Beckner have to be licking their chops thinking about going up against our terrible OL.

Their defense has been terrible this year following the coaching change.

That top defense they had the last few years? The new HC came into what was a top 8 defense the last two years and rearranged everything to the point that even with almost all of the same players in plays, under his system it's dropped all the way down to (currently) the 101st ranked defense in the country.

And those ends and tackles? Missouri's currently 95th in the country in sacks, meaning that even with the mid-majors, the players you mentioned and the rest of the team aren't getting to QBs more than maybe once per game...the defensive pressure UT played against the last year or two isnt there.

Their defensive fall has been dramatic. It's even giving up 400 yard games to offenses like Eastern Michigan.
