Look at Pat Hill at Fresno St? I'm not sure on all his perts but the dude has been pretty consistent over a much longer period than Kelly, Brewster, Peterson, etc... He's proven and with an "anybody, any place, any time" kind of attitude! Anyway, just a thought....

Also, why does Muschamp get more talk than the likes of Charlie Strong, Bud Foster, etc...

That's good for smaller schools, but our anytime anyplace is week in week out. They would always get jacked up for the big game, win it, then blow it against a lesser opponent down the road

I'm a huge Pat Hill fan. However, his inability to win a WAC title invalidates his candidacy to me.

There has got to be a reason he's not been up for bigger jobs. I think he's a good coach but you have to wonder.

I think he gets more looks because of his high energy level. Foster and Strong are more low key and is not as much of a "big splash" as Muschamp.
I wouldn't have a problem with Pat Hill but we would have to be turned down by alot of coaches before they ge tto his name.

please, God ...no Bud Foster....he was just the first one to figure out that ACC offenses are like UT's current offense every year. He's not a national recruiter, they usually only start kids from VA on defense and winning the Almost College-football Conference is like being the tallest midget and the NCAA should just give all the ACC teams 'Thank You for Trying' ribbons.

But seriously, we'd need a guy that could nationally recruit and he's not it. He has no offensive experience at all and that on our team is what needs a jump start. And thirdly, I'm just not impressed by his defense in the least, they put up good numbers against terrible offenses and get embarrassed against most other quality BCS competition out of conference. The only reason he's considered good is the gaudy stats from playing what seems like The Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind for their out of conference games

Cannot win the WAC. I want a guy who wins championships. Guys who go 9-4 every year, finish 3rd, and win a lame duck bowl game every other year are easy to find.
