Point is quite simple, UF & UGA are both better now than when they played us.

I've heard the "UGA finished strong" argument before . . . like just last year. UGA is getting way too much credit for beating a bunch of average teams and Florida with Tebow playing with a bad shoulder.

I'm not sure beating Cal would have translated into beating Florida. The one thing it would have done is gotten the media off our back a bit about the whole, UGA is better than UT mumbo jumbo. I'm not sure I see an opening win as changing the season so much as I see it as not having that embarrassing loss to a bad team.

If we beat Cal, I would be less upset with the season and we still wouldn't have accomplished anything.
