Im gonna be so nervous. Hope Dobbs and Co. respond quickly. Just gotta get points early and often. obviously.

well we were down 14-0 with Vt and came back from that, and were losing to app state, so if history is correct, we should feel good about not scoring first?

just win baby!

I was saying something similar to this to my wife the other day. I just have this feeling that if we go 3 and out, and then Florida scores on their first possession, the entire stadium is just going to get that "here we go again" feeling, and the atmosphere will change so quickly. I pray more than anything that we start off quick and take the lead early.

Getting off to a fast start will be more important in this game than others. Remember, Florida is playing a backup QB and it is not like their passing game was all-world with Del Rio anyway.

If we jumped out to an early lead (something like 14-0, 14-3 at the end of Q1) and that lead them to deviate from their running game even slightly and go to Appleby to make more throws, that would be a huge advantage for us.

Well, this attitude is based on play THIS year (not last year) -- which simply means, hold on, 'cause we're gonna start scoring, and start holding 'em and win !!

It shouldn't, because we've gone down early in 2 of the 3 games we've played this year.

Boys and girls. Ladies and gentlemen. What we have here is a SECOND HALF football team. The are at their best in adversity. They are opportunistic. They are resilient and are there when it matters most. That is their identity. That's what makes them "sneaky good". Do not fret about going down early.

If we get down 14 points to Florida we will win, if we go up by 14 points to Florida we will lose. If you think historically... OU, Florida, Arkansas all loses when we were up by quite a bit... Georgia, VA tech, both wins when we were down by quite a bit...

Even if we go down 7-0, lets keep the crowd into it.

We were down against Georgia (last year), kentucky (last year) and V tech and came back to win

Yea i really think we have a good veteren group that wont be intimidated either way. we have been backed in some corners and been successful
