I would love if Phil was the AD. He has such a great attitude and would work like Heck to get this program to the top.

and we saw what happened at UGA with the last minority AD. is that what u all want here?

I really just love Phil's attitude. When he looked me in the eyes and said "I will take care of your son" I knew why he is a Hall of Fame coach and person.

Oh Lord help us I knew it wouldn't be long before one of you would come out of the closet and want her as AD. She can coach the men, the women, Let let her be the president of the Univeristy as well. Heck lets just change the name to Summit University...Go away please..:banghead2:

i wouldnt be suprised a bit to see art's number retired one day. he is hall of fame in my book

Thank you I'm just glad that my boy got his chance to play. He keeps in close contact with Eric and hopes to follow in his shoes.

Even Dread Pirate Mike Leach has more class than Phil. I don't see him spouting off about how great things were under him and how things bad are now (at least not lately), but of course it wasn't Mike Leach that dragged his program down this hole in which we now reside.

I just threw a name out there, I am not even saying she is the most qualified. Touchy folks, I would prefer myself we go another route if and when the time comes. Good grief I just threw a name out, I will say this we could do worse but I hope and believe we will do better. GO VOLS!

Wildorange, I like original thinking. I had never thought of Summit, but I agree with you actually. There is a younger generation of donors coming who would make donations, perhaps even more, with Summit as AD. It would get A LOT of positive press for a long time. And, really, most of the old donors will continue to give because they love the university and what she has done for it.

She strikes fear in me. The most scared any woman ever made me. I was 11 & at UT's Basketball camp many moons ago. We decided it would be funny to throw water balloons out of the 5th floor of Andy Holt BESIDE (not on) some girls outside. Was caught by Coach Summitt. Her blue eyes enraged with anger pierced my soul. The tongue lashing was second to none & she ran us till we puked. She scares me to this day! Maybe she would keep the reigns tight on the ship. I know I NEVER want to do anything to draw her ire to this day. (shudders in fear)

I'm actually of the opinion to fire Hamilton right now and bring back Dickey as interim AD until the smoke of the election and President search clears.
