Known as the season of what might have been...

What might have been if the guys bought in earlier, played harder at key moments, caused a couple more things to fall their way...oh what might have been.

Tennessee football rising from the fire that has engulfed this program for years....
Tennessee football ready to retake it's place among the elite and never look back on this tragedy....

Bittersweet.

GA State, BYU, and in some weird arse way Alabama could have all been wins.

This is what a coach who learns on the job does but honestly right now I’m just happy we got a coach that can and will learn.

Hope for big things next season if we pull out an 8-5 record.

A miracle.
And the fact this team should have been 9-3.
Which would give us much more hope that Pruitt is indeed the guy for the job.

I would eat crow. Admit I was wrong to write off Chaney and Pruitt after the horrendous start and start watching recruiting again like a hawk.

What might have been had Pruitt given Shrout and Maurer a fair shot earlier. Like the second half vs Georgia State.

But to OP's point, it would be a danged fine turnaround.
