If we were in the West we'd play all of those teams every year and that changes things. For example, our division rivals play us differently, and more closely I would contend (and vice versa) because of history, emotion, familiarity, and so on.

Asking what it would be I'd we were suddenly a west team is impossible to answer. But more to my point, it's a faulty premise.

Dumbest comment to a thread I've seen in a long time. My point was Butch and co. Get away with decency due to the fact that our last 4 conference games will be wins against **** teams. Lucky we are on the **** side of the conference

Honest assessment is the only team we should be able to beat Miss State. But Arkansas would overpower us (like they did last year), Ole Miss would beat us as badly as we lost today. Auburn and LSU could go either way. We have talent to play with them, but there is something missing this year as seen in the struggles against Appy, Ohio, etc. we may yet go .500 against the East We need to fix some things and start playing a full ball game

Now the tide has turned. Some of it must be "keeping up with the Joneses." Alabama has big strong lines so Arkansas and Texas A&M and LSU go get those kinds of players. The East is more finesse, and right now that ain't working. But the tide will swing back.

We would beat everybody except the two we lost to. As hard as it is for everyone to comprehend, we are the 3rd best team in the conference right now.
