do you think the trolls would still come on here. In the past there was the occasional troll that you learned to ignore, but since this latest fiasco, it seems there are more than ever. I personally would rather pay than have to listen and sort through all their garbage.What do you guys think.

I dont mind other fans coming on here. its not really that big of a deal. this is probably the best run board out there.

I have, at times, considered a VIP membership for those who have asked those same questions. In that case, there could be a premium forum for those who wish to use it and for everyone else, things remain the same.

It'll all die down this summer. That is when the trolls leave and the legit posters have pretty intelligent coversation. Unfortunately, there isn't much to talk about, so expect a lot of prediction, quarterback, uniform, and WKU threads.

i think if there was a VIP pay or whatever, then they should have special abilities to mess with the trolls...

I like the idea of that, but nothing too expensive like VolQuest.

Haha, for some reason I enjoy the board in the summer. Seems to have more of a family atmosphere lol. Everybody knows everybody, and it really helps pass the time until football season.

The trolls just make it fun. Who doesn't like bashing LG or Ihateorange. It just up's the entertainment value. The Mods do a great job of keeping it under control.

Ive been around the board awhile, I actually have been here longer than my profile says, a while back the board had some update and I disappeared and had to restart. I just dont post much. That being said I know how things usually work and it is a well run board, but the trolls are out thick. Just look at alot of the threads and who is starting them. I have in the past got most of my vol news from this site, you trolls should just leave. Freak i might would be interested in the premium version if it were not too expensive.

The one thing about VN that stands out from other boards is the pure volume of people that come to this site and post. While it is awesome to almost always get constant feedback since so many people are here, that also means we occasionally get a bad apple or two. Having to pay would likely weed out the trolls, but would eliminate some of the true fans as well(both UT, and some great posters who happen to cheer for other teams), and in the end that might detract more from the experience that having to deal with a few annoying fans from other teams.

That is very true. During the summer the board consists mostly of our close knit group of diehard regulars....and lawgator of course. :)

It is crazy that it is a free site but is moderated so well. It has more of a family type atmosphere and you dont find that.
