If the 4 guys who have asked for NFL draft information leave, what do you think the OL looks like next year considering Parker is gone too.

For those who dont know, McClendon and Richard asked for NFL information.

If those two leave they are making a big mistake. They need to lose weight and learn how to play first.

Just what the NFL wants, powerlifting gummy bears.

They would get violated in the NFL. I don't think we have any worries here.

Considering they looked absolutely horrid this year...
I'd say were going to have to start from rock bottom any with them learning the game of football again if they do stay..

It will be tough..

Sometimes players ask for potential draft status to become eligible for insurance.

I really think these two sucked because of Clawson's horrific zone blocking scheme. Richard, for one, is a beast.

I think with USC's blocking scheme, they'd do quite well.

Remember, last year was basically the same OL as the year before and the blocking was 500% better in '07.

Or was it the fact that Cut and Ainge had it where EA made quick throws and didn't hold the ball? We didn't run the ball all that great last year.

The only one of those guys that has any hope of leaving early is williams. In the end they will be back.

exactly. we don't know how good they were in pass protection because Ainge threw the ball away if the main receiver wasn't open.

After the bad blocking year we had those boys better stay they couldn't keep me out of the backfield much less a 5* DL.

We couldn't run the ball at all 2 years ago, but gave up a miniscule number of sacks.

This is more attributable to Cut and Ainge getting the ball out quickly than it is the O-line.

They can bench 600+. I don't understand how this doesn't translate into annihilating the person across from you on every play. Oh, maybe coaching?

But in last year's system they didn't necessarily block the person across from them. I hope this year's assignments will be different.

After the horrible line play they had this year. They only possible NFL team they could go to is the lions. Even that is doubtful.
