You mean events where people and participants from all over the world attend were cancelled? There is a huge difference in having a competition like the Olympics where you are literally bringing in millions of people from all around the globe to attend and localized sports that really only impact people in one country. I would hate to think that 5 months from now we are still where we are right now and to be honest, if we are football season will be the least of our concerns. Starving and a depression will be our biggest problem. What changes in 5 months. Wimdbledon was cancelled, the British open. All happen weeks before fall practice. So barring a vaccine, do you think people over age of 60 feel good about attending a game in 5 months? Do you feel players will be ok with being in close quarters with students and their teammates? I hope I'm wrong, but I dont see a change heading our way.
