If the dogs lose

Banks has the Tennessee defense ranked 4th nationally in scoring defense and 6th in total defense. I prefer to keep him.
Did you see what GT's D did with far less talent and a depleted secondary? UT may have the deepest, most talented D in the country. Talent wins much of the time... then you get outcoached by Mike Bobo.

I would love to trade DCs with GT.
Alas, I have but one like to give. Great game, but everyone knew uga would take it. Refs aside, that program just finds ways to make the plays needed to win. I'll be curious to see how Heupel and Co. handle this opportunity today.

I think both games had more to do with how the Georgia offense played than their opponent. They were flat against us in the first quarter then scored 31 points in the next three quarters. They were flat in the first half against Tech then scored 27 points in the second half.

Just my opinion but when Georgia is hitting on all cylinders I don’t think anyone can beat them. As you said, talent wins most of the time and they have more talent than we do…and I say that based on NFL draft projections. Four of their five OL are projected to be drafted which means that when they play well - as they did against us - Beck has a clean pocket and time to let the receivers get open. I don’t think we played poorly against Georgia, I just believe they are a more talented team with more experience in some key areas.

I watched the game on one Overtime, GT Edge rusher got tackled by UGA lineman & ref right in front of him UGA pass of course was complete & of course Beck had all day on that play.
Another thing I noticed at the 1st OT they threw a flag for UGA being to far on the field. They then called it a warning. Then in every OT Kirby was 5-10 yards on the field and nothing else was said or flagged, its almost like he's the new Saban and has all the refs intimidated & shaking in their shoes. He did give the ref a tongue lashing that threw the warning flag. So I guess it worked. Basketball he would probably had 4 or 5 Technical fouls.

First time UGA has been shutout in first half since 2019 and IMO that goes hand in hand with this is the most non elite talent team since then. They are still really good but there's no super game changers like Bowers etal. They are winning a lot of close games and have flat out lost 2.
They are very close to being a 4 or 5 loss team they have got a lot of favorable calls & balls bouncing their way and give it to Kirby he has some of the refs intimidated. Remember Kentucky almost beat them. 13 to10, think about that.

Wrong. The players failed to execute just like they did against Arky. Yes our coaching wasn’t good but to put all the blame on coaches is disingenuous. These players are getting paid. No more oh it’s all on coaching. Players HAVE to play.
We blitzed much more than people realize in that game. Their OLine picked it up consistently and our guys did not win 1-1 matchups. Beck did get the ball out quickly on occasion but he had lots of time. In short, their guys handled our guys easily

Which is why people think Tennessee is overrated and we get no respect. Frankly, I am thinking they are right.

The Bulldogs wanted a lot of drama before finally winning the game.
Georgia didn't win. The refs seated them at the table, delivered BS Dog-favoring calls on a silver platter with gold trim. They even fed the bassards, using platinum forks and spoons. DISGUSTING officiating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They had so many chances to win that game. They should have in regulation. That fumble was costly.
The hit that caused the fumble was textbook targeting by definition.

The refs were going to make sure Georgia was going to win that game.

The 4th down PI call was completely wrong because the ball was tipped at the line of scrimmage.

I think everything is dependent on how many fumbles/ interceptions UGA has. If two of those incompletions were actually fumbles, we would have been in business

Yeah but they don’t hit on all cylinders all the time. It’s been in spurts. Just got to capitalize and score points when they aren’t. Tech left points off the board last night.

It's really sad when you can't get an even playing field. One day some crazed fan is going to do something stupid, I wish this crap would stop. But it isn't. Uga is the cash cow in Ga.

One thing about that game should have been beaten into our guys heads all week - never let a weaker team outplay you early. They get confident and are tough to deal with for the rest of the game. We started very slow last week but the opponent was so weak it didn’t hurt us. We can’t do that with Vandy. We need to dominate early so they know they can’t win. Those Tech players last night never felt like they weren’t going to win.

can't wait to see that idiotic UGA YouTuber go crazy later. lol
well, I guess I can wait.. I apologize to GT for putting the reverse jinks on them by being overjoyed that uga was *****ing the bed early.. All MY fault.... :(
