Pretty sure in 08 the big 12 had a 3 way tie between Oklahoma, Tech, and Texas and gave it to Oklahaoma because their BCS ranking was higher

WSU is almost like the Vanderbilt of the Pac 12. Before Leach arrived they hadn't had a winning record since 2003. WSU is actually 51 games UNDER .500 historically. What he's managed to do there is beyond impressive.

He's a WSU because he told his AD/University President where to stick it when they tried to get him to sign a false statement regarding Adam James. They fired him with cause and he sued them. The good ole boys club in the AD's around the country made him pay for that one. We wouldn't be here with him if Currie hadn't screwed up in such epic fashion.

Facinating,, Vol football did begin to go south while Leach was at Texas Tech and after Coach Fulmer was dismissed

Butch was hired in 2012 and Leach went to WSU in the same time frame right? Or even the Dooley Stooley hire could have been it. Dunno, interesting though.
