I am just as frustrated, we’ll make that just apathetic toward the program just to the point where I don’t care. Used to love reading articles about the team and looking up stats and coming on here to the boards to complain after losses and revel in all the wins.

Now it’s just not even watching the games, just looking to see how bad they are losing. If Pruitt loses and he is fired on that Sunday what are you as fans expecting to happen? Who is going to come and right the ship? Freze?? Your holding the future of your program on that guy? Some great offensive mind who’s team scores 45 points in the MAC or ACC? Another defensive coordinator from bama, Clemson (venebles) or Ohio st? There are NO SPLASH hires folks. Saban, Dabo and gruden are NOT going to come here and are the only sure thing hires? Wouldn’t you rather wait to get a really good guy that would maybe excite the base and recruits.

Please someone tell me who is a GREAT hire and would actually come here that we should get rid of our coach regardless of if we win the next two or lose them...

Then what??? . . . WE HIRE ANOTHER COACH. Hugh Freeze comes to mind. I'd love to have Kiffin back but then Ole Miss would be mad at him for leaving after one year just like we were. I don't care at this point. Please give us Freeze or Kiffin. Might even take the Coastal Carolina guy. The big boys with the coin are gong to have to step over Fulmer to make this happen.

BYU, Coastal Carolina, Cincinnati and Iowa State all have really promising coaches. There is also Hugh Freeze who has been mentioned before but has baggage. I think it’s very realistic to assume we could get at least one of those coaches.

This. Matt Campbell or Hugh Freeze (depending on his interview) would be home run hires.

A friend once told me, “if you’re going to run with the big dogs, you better learn to p!$$ in high weeds.” UT has (absolutely HAS) to put together a REAL FINANCIAL package and go big-game hunting. In addition to the two above, I’d also kick the tires on Urban, B Stoops and Peterson and let it be known to all of the agents that UT is ready to play in the big leagues (maybe you get surprised by a successful coach). Highly unlikely, but I’d have the $$$ lined up and ask.

No more JV BS. Money talks and BS walks. Time to swing for the fences.

Then what? Then we hire Hugh Freeze and begin to rebuild this program!

Is this a trick question? We hire another coach. And may the odds be ever in our favor.

But seriously, we hire someone that can motivate players, coach a quarterback, get DBs to cover at least one receiver per year, and can speak proper English. And this time, I would suggest having a coach in the bag before firing the current one.

If he is indeed fired, myself like the rest of you would love nothing more than a great hire. But let’s not fool ourselves. We all know what will happen. Another mid major or another coordinator will take Pruitts place.

We can all hope and hope for a Freeze or Campbell but like I said, we all know. This is TN. We don’t make great HC hires.

If so, i will not be making my commitment to donate. I know many others who feel the same.

Oh well so it goes then. Unless you donate in the high 5-6 figures I doubt it will matter much. People can keep thinking that fans not spending money will fix this. It won’t.

Freeze all the way!!! Go for a big time hire or just leave the SEC if you don’t want to compete at the highest level the yearly embarrassment has to end time. It’s time to get this program back to where it should be and if Fulmer has to be pushed out then so be it.
