If not Tennessee...then who?

My friends and I were having a conversation the other day about the difficulty of recruiting in the SEC. We are all Tennessee fans and were wondering if we had to play for either Alabama, Florida, or Georgia who would we play for. We took into consideration future NFL hopes, style of play, everything that would mean something to us in terms of career choice. So I ask Volnation the same question...Who woud you play for if you had to choose from those 3?

Of those teams, I'd like to say the Bulldogs as I lived in Athens for awhile. (loved Vince Dooley!) However, the Florida Gators right now are a great team with a great coach. Rapid fans, great stadium, and known for speed, speed, and more speed.

With that said. . .GO VOLS, beat all of them!! :furious3:

I will answer the question. Not Alabama. I like UF style of play better, but the co-eds at UGA are tops. Probably UGA.

If I were a recruit straight up with no ties to UT I would probably be pulled to the personality of Mark Richt and the family atmosphere of UGA. They also provide an easy route to the NFL...I would just have to accept that I won't win a NC while in college.

If I have to choose between Bama, UGA, and UF I would probably go UF if I were a defensive prospect and UGA if I was on offense. No way would I want to play in UF's offense if I had NFL aspirations. I'd gladly sacrifice my left nut to avoid Tuscaloosa and/or Nick Saban for 4 years.

If I could go anywhere but UT I'd probably look outside of conference.
