Jan Van Breda Kolff, NBA and Vandy player, Pepperdine, St Bonaventure Coach wants to get back into coaching as per the Tennessean newspaper. Probably coach for peanuts.

Wojo has been a Duke assistant for many years, right? Why hasn't he been offered a HC coach by now? I think you only have to look at the UT women's bb program to see this isn't the way to go.

How about Dooley's kid? Derek? Wouldn't say Vince's son is unproven. He's smart ... got a law degree .. and compared to others with his experience he's doing pretty good. He's been HC 3yrs and AD 2yrs so he may not be proven enough but he is on his way.

Seems like a SEC regular season Championship an SEC Tournament Championship with NCAA Elite 8 and a Sweet 16 appearances in only two seasons seems to be pretty good to me? :dunno:

That's by far the best thing he's done since he's been in Memphis. The man just can't win big ball games. As far as recruiting goes I said it before and I'll say it again at Memphis you can recruit four and five star athletes on your lunch break.... By walking.....

This is why Memphis this is stuck with him for a long time. I kind of feel sorry for him because like in the Virginia game you could tell he had no idea what to do. And I have been to a few games over the years where he coached and he has zero control of the huddle. In fact one game I actually saw two of his teammates fight in the huddle and they had to be separated....

But can you get them into school? That's where the trouble starts, especially when the guy you had take the S.A.T.'s for the guys gets busted.
