I can't help but be impressed with the way the QBs and Receivers are working this year with the coaching changes I've seen (Cut and Troop). If I were looking for a place I thought would have a chance to play for a National title, I believe I would be looking at the Orange, and I don't mean Texas. What do you think?

However there is a point, I am speaking not as a Vol fan, but as far as receiver goes, Swain is gone aftewr this year ! Meachem may or may not come back. There is no clear cut front runner after Meachem if he returns, now the backfield is loaded. Offensive Lineman & Defensive Linemen prospects wil definetly have a chance. DB's will have a chance, since Wade is gone and Heffney will have a legitimate chance of leaving early. So if our recruiter has a superb mouthpiece, they should be able to get some top notch recruits in here.

If this offense doesn't revert to Johnny Ball when they get a lead, it should be attractive to a big name receiver. This staff has the rest of the season to show they are willing to keep throwing the ball when they have 10 point leads over respectable foes.

That is true, but, if I'm an opposing recruiter, I'm asking the recruits exactly how long they expect Cut to play 2nd(and maybe 3rd) fiddle at UT. Right now, we just need to win and stay out of trouble. We will land our share of blue chippers if we can do that.
