How does UF score?

It's a honest question. I've said several times the game will be a lot closer than the majority think.

But is there anything that we saw in the two games against A&M and Bowling Green that says, they can do that on us, and score.

Defense?

I highly doubt they will score in that case, unless Driskell can step up and make some plays. But I doubt he can handle the pressure, and will panic.

Even if he is 100% which is unlikely, one man alone isn't going to beat us.

They would have trouble scoring on offense if Gillislee were at 100%. Without him they're toast.

Against our D I'd say busted coverage plays. We've tackled really well (imo) and we've tracked the ball well when we were out of position but we've done so against slower opponents. We have been out of position more than a few times so if I had to guess most of FL's points will be scattered through the game when they caught us guessing wrong or picked on a weak link.

Good point

Can Driskel play well enough in front of 100,000+ to see those mistakes is also a thought

Driskel is an athlete, he will make some plays. He is mobile and makes plays with his feet. It would be a big blow if Gillislee is limited or out

UF will score. Not a lot but they will move the ball and score.

You have to remember that our D bends quite a bit.

Gators should get around 17 points.

How will they score?

Dare I say.. throwing a pass?

See, Florida has these things. They're called Wide Receivers and their job is to basically, just go out for a pass and catch the ball. Believe it or not, some of them are actually decent.

Exactly. It's not like UF is a girls team.

And they aren't just going to roll over and hand it to UT.

UT will win IMO - but UF will fight.

#114 in the nation in passing yards and #87 in points scored. Verses BGSU and A&M, not exactly powerhouse teams. You sure you have decent WR's? Or maybe the real question is, do you have a QB that can throw accurate down field passes? Oh, I know I know, that genius coach of yours has been "saving" all the good stuff for UT, right? :eek:lol:

A groin injury limits his cuts and that runs him into the teeth of the d-line

Yes, and even if he is practicing, he isn't 100%. Everyone knows he is not 100% as we saw him being taken our of the game and you could tell he was in some pain. He may be close to 100%, but it seems obvious he isn't 100%.
