I hope that improves our chances with our targets recruiting wise. It certainly can't hurt IMO. Any guys you think we can turn if these scenarios play out?

And it would depend on who they hired to replace them. Sometimes you can end up hiring a better guy.

could hurt with a guy like A Riles but most of Quinn targets are already on campus besides Nick Washington and Fulwood who are UF no matter what. Guys like Daniel, Jason Hatcher, M Adams and Juco DT J Reed are less likely than they were before. DQ biggest targets were D Walker and Adams.

Quinn will be missed more from a development standpoint with DL than recruiting.

Yeah, I was looking at both teams D recruits the other day. They have a ton of in-state kids who are probably more committed to the school / location than anything else. Florida's got a few out-of-state LBs who might reconsider, though.

Durkin is gone no matter what next year. Had two offers he turned down this offseason for DC or HC. Will be a one year thing so go outside to get someone that will be there for 2 or 3 years. My guess is Glenn Pires from Atl Falcons. Coached with Muschamp at LSU and Mia.

The newly hired NFL HCS' are looking to fill staff positions.
An AP article stated that Chip Kelly accepted the Eagles job due to an ncaa investigation into OU's use of recruiting services. Of course that is speculation .

I somehow can’t help but think that no matter what happens to one of our rivals, the thing they do will work out really well and the thing we do will be a complete disaster.

But I’m not bitter.

I would think we're pretty much out of time for any major commits to switch at the last minute. We are very limited with spots and we have pretty much used up all the official visits that we have left. I'm afraid we are where we are right now.

The staff is trying to close in on a few big fish and I'm sure that's where their focus is right now. I doubt that it will make a difference if either coach leaves their programs.

Wasn't he the guy arrested yesterday for the moped theft?

:)

Speaking of which, Jessamen Dunker was released on his own today. He's saying he paid for the moped and didn't know it was stolen. If true, that's really going to put a dent in what looked to be solid start to the Fulmer Cup for UF.

Don't worry...these college kids never surprise you. They're a very resilient bunch...good chance you will wake up in the morning and you'll be rewarded with a half-dozen arrests as a result of a fight in a strip club.
