If Florida hires Coach Peterson, will he hire Coach Wilcox back as DC?

Am I makng this up, or has Peterson passed on some jobs due to a special needs child and the care he gets in Boise.

Wouldn't lose much with Wilcox gone, IMO. I know the talent level was down this year but his defense has been torched.

I think Wilcox would be a huge loss...people are going to be very excited in a couple years when he has the talent to work with.

His defense will be very multiple and will be fun to watch IMO.

I would be more concerned about them hiring Peterson than grabbing Wilcox. He is here for a while and that isn't a bad thing.

CCP isn't coming to the SEC..... He is a scientologist. I have no problems with peoples' religion, but the same cannot be said for a significant portion of SEC fans.

If he's OT3, then all he bas to do is think hard enough and the opposing team will either fumble or miss all their tackles. Hail Xenu!

I think the jury is still out on Coach Wilcox. The SEC is a tough conference to prepare defensively for week end and week out.

The first two seasons are learning experiences and what he brings to the table is in some cases, non traditional defenses. Adjustments made and players taught the system.

He has been able to do it with less talent at Boise State and once he recruits his needs for the defense he runs it will provide the answer. The Defense Line killed us this year but look at what he had to work with and add an injury or two.

He should provide based on what I have seen in the past, defensive schemes that will pressure the QB and sacks. I think he will eventually throw out some defensive schemes that are going to give players and coaches a fit because of his creativity. He will have to stay one step ahead of them because the SEC is the best and they are quick learners.

He is comfortable here and should not wonder off the beaten path but who knows when it comes to coaching changes. He knows that this is a good stepping off point to better things if he sees it through versus going backwards to coach with someone he has been with before.

Kinda like been there done that got the T-shirt for it.

Losing CJW wouldn't make me lose any sleep. Losing CJC would.

Why wouldn't Peterson just take the Boise DC with him that he has now? Their defense was just as good this year.

I will admit, I am still very excited to see what CJW can do with more talent. I was concerned though all year with the timing of our blitzes. It seemed the blitzes from our LB's and CB's were all late. Any thoughts on this?
