There's something rotten in K-town. It is as plain as a shart in a stuck elevator that the PTBs will never extend an offer to Tee Martin, nor will they ever honestly explain why. They'd rather hire a High School coach out of rural North Carolina than bring home one of our own. It's inexcusable. Eff the lot of 'em.

Isn't Paul Bain out of eligibility? I say make him an offer. Other teams will stop showing up to the games out of sheer terror, and we will win many forfeits. Then our lack of O-line play won't matter.

Steele, Venables, Pruitt... Anybody but Tee! God forbid Tennessee consider hiring their own damned National Championship quarterback!

Obviously Tennessee is way down the list of candidates. Miles, Sumlin or Martin would be acceptable at this point. Any of these three is better then the NC State guy. How hard can it be.

We would have to call Tee... Right?

If these clowns running the search want to stop the bleeding, then call Tee Martin NOW!!!

Otherwise, it would be wise to take a couple of days to re-group. Forget about the low-profile, average/mediocre options like Morris, Clawson etc.

If Currie insists on getting an experienced head coach, then stay within larger programs with better-than average success. That would include Miles, Leach and Sumlin.

Forget about Kiffin!!! I like him too, but it's not going to happen.

I sent Currie and Davenport a respectful email this morning imploring them to unite the fan base and hire Tee Martin!!!

Some jackinapes among the PTBs are insisting on P5 HC experience. That's how we got Currie instead of Blackburn - P5 AD experience. THEY will insist on hiring some godforsaken retread who'll muck it up another 4-5 years and leave with a big payout. There is no courage or sense among the lot of 'em.

I sent Currie one yesterday. We give our calm and thoughtful words to those with blind eyes and deaf ears, I'm afraid.
