Prohm- Maybe
Mack- Not going to happen
McMahon- Does have ties to the area
Davis- No

In what world would Mack leave Louisville for Tennessee, especially when he has a top class coming in next year. Prohm wouldn’t even leave for his Alma Mater Alabama.

Except the FBI was investigating Auburn for stuff unrelated to the issues LSU, Arizona, and other schools are.....

Auburn was being investigated for Person's personal dealings while using his influence as a coach.

The charges and judgements against Person pretty much exonerate Bruce.

People make it sound like Bruce is waiting to be cleared when in reality, he hasn't been charged or indicted in anything.

Why Auburn's Bruce Pearl, once on the hot seat due to an FBI investigation, got a contract extension

But that's not really the case at Auburn.
Person, yes, similarly accepted money from an outsider. But the allegations there are not that he used the estimated $91,000 to lure anybody to Auburn's campus. Instead, the allegations are that he used the money to create influence over players already on campus so that he could theoretically steer them to a certain financial adviser whenever they became professionals. In other words, Pearl did not obviously benefit from Person's violations the way Miller allegedly benefitted from Richardson's violations -- which is why it's not unreasonable to believe Pearl really might not have known what Person was allegedly doing.

IMO, I don't think they would even look at Pearl given the history. Chris Beard and Steve Prohm are two guys I would consider. Also, add Kermit Davis to that list and I would at least contact Billy Donovan and see if he would be interested in leaving the NBA. Hopefully Barnes stays and we can forget about all of this :).

Chris Beard is in line for a big raise at Tech.... He would also be in line for a huge raise if he leaves Tech.

Tennessee isn't opening the checkbook for Beard

Take the $5M from Barnes buyout and add that to Barnes salary and sign Chris Beard to a 5-yr deal. Probably best coach other than coach K. Everyone who has seen his practices come away really impressed. And, with the talent he has at TT, it's obvious he can recruit.
