If Bama Can’t Run on TX A&M

Just want to point out we didn't have our best Olineman and Sampson didn't play. And we were on the road. It's not easy to do anything on the road in this league. We are going to have a huge advantage playing this one in Neyland.
That and any big play we had seemed to be called back for one reason or another

I’m more concerned about our secondary in this one. A&M appears to be pass happy and we struggle back there. Our DL needs to be just as strong as it was last game.

Our best shot is for our secondary to continue to improve.

Johnson is a very capable qb, and we must have a lot of success in our pass rush
to beat them. I think it will be a 3-5 point win for us, but won't be surprised if we lose based
on secondary play.

I look for Jalen to get 75 yds, Sampson 60.

Developing.

I watched the Heupel show and noticed that probably 85% of Milton’s passes against South Carolina were slants comebacks and quick outs all about 5-7 yards. He had the one deep ball to squirrel and a few screens and shovels but it was good to see him hitting some of those shorter routes with touch.
That's actually what Bama did to A&M with 1 or 2 deep balls to Burton. They got it out fast which I think helped Milroe even Jimbo said Bamas O was a bit different with Milroe not holding the ball as long as they had seen on film.

Replay was clear on it. I absolutely hate Bama, have a strong dislike for the boot sliding cult also. But yeah I agree some luck was there. I personally think its on coaching as to why AM lost.
The decision in the first quarter to go for a 4th & 4 from the bama 20 instead of taking the fg was a big mistake as those 3 points could have changed how the game was played in the 4th quarter.

Also, the a&m oline was Swiss cheese in the 4th quarter yet a&m called back to back straight drop back passes leading to the safety. Why not roll the qb out or at least keep an extra blocker in?

What’s our game plan?
Our offense will be tested and it will be difficult to run, especially when we do not have a QB who can/will run when our receivers are covered. The fortunate part of the game is, they don't have a very good offense. Our defense has to stop their runs, get a couple of turnovers, and make the breaks on special teams. We win if we score 28 or more.

think we match up good against tamu, saw many run lanes open.no doubt a good d-line but lots of slants and a few bombs should open it up.

People saying that Milton is better than Milroe a that it’s not close, what have you been watching? Milroe a better runner and better throwing on the run. Both have cannons. Not sure Milton does anything better than Milroe.

Milroe flat beat his team vs Texas. Milton hasn’t been why Tennessee lost any game

I think our D and crowd is going to give the Aggies problems. A&M looked good on D in the first half but Bama was able to make enough plays in the passing game and the Aggies D started giving up some plays. Bama was getting to Johnson a lot. We need to win special teams and contain Williams especially. GBO
Yep, I think A&Ms O will have about 5 pre snap penalties (crowd noise). Playing behind the sticks is hard no matter how good the QB is.

TAM dared Milroe to beat them with his arm and he had his best game to date doing that.
Yep, Jimbo even said they were surprised that Milroe got the ball out quickly unlike they had seen on film and I'm supposing they ran their sets thinking he would hold it longer. Not a great game but Milroe best yet.

Fisher is just a really bad gameday coach. To not kick the FG after the penalty made it 3rd and forever with 3 minutes left and 3 timeouts, but instead run a play, burn a timeout and and a minute on the clock, and then kick the FG anyway cost them any chance at winning.

They might have gotten to ball back with 2:30 with a legit shot to win, and instead Bama just killed the clock. Just utter coaching incompetence. Stuff like that would drive me crazy as a fan.
