These people make Tennessee fans look bad. Why should they score more points? They weren't going to cover the spread. I guess they wanted to risk a turnover that could tie the game. Idiots

Running up the score is poor sportsmanship as well, the game was at hand .

i wouldnt have minded letting riggs pound the ball a few more times instead of taking a knee. i know yall are gonna gimme some long speech bout bein conservative and smart, but i wanted to make the score look a little bit better.

unfortunately some of our fans have a terminal case of bammer fever. These young men deserve better. CPF did the right thing by taking the knee. Anyone remember the UGa game a couple of years ago?

yeah and i remember a hs football game a few years ago where a team decided to that instead of kneeling. o yeah, they fumbled and the opposing team ended up kicking the game winning fg right after. no need to run a play. hows about a nd halftime bomb? spring any memories?

I thought some of the booing was a result of the disappointment with how the offense had played that game. It kind of came to a climax at the end of the game when everyone realized UT was only going to put up 17 points against UAB.

I'm not trying to justify it, I dont think they should have been booing; but I think that is the reason why. Not so much wanting to run the score, but disappointed fans with how the offense had played.

The whole crowd at Neyland didn't seem too great today. The place was generally very quiet. It was TV so I couldn't hear it perfectly, but I'm pretty sure little 30,000 seat Reser Stadium at Oregon State has made more noise than Neyland did today. Then the booing at the end was terrible too.

Not just the right choice, and a good choice, it was the classy choice.

That should always count more than impressing a pollster.

Milo...many of us have friends and family in the gulf coast region. The events this week down there have put a damper on many of us. This football game is frivolous compared to what has and is happening to our neighbors.

You know I've got nothing to say at the hurricane. But I was unimpressed with the crowd at Neyland today.

The crowd was quiet when the team needed the noise to help out and was classless at the end.

I think the crowd will be better for UGA and the rest of the games though.

yep the booing is embarrassing. Probably a product of the dumbing down of America.

OTOH the hurricane thing is deeply on the minds of us around here and certainly influence the enthusiasm at Neyland.

or the Notre Dame game?...why risk tempting fate with a fumble, interception or an injury to either side? I know the Ainge injury was pre half but still the issue is decided, salutes to the CPF camp for classy conduct.

Milo, don't sit in Oregon and tell those of us that went to the game, got sunburned and cant talk that "the crowd was quiet when the team needed it" and that "30,000 seat ******* stadium is louder".

That's B.S.

When Neyland NEEDED to be loud, it was VERY loud. The crowd got loud when the Defense needed it, and the crowd "seemed" quiet to you because the offense didn't exactly give them anything to cheer about.

I'll be damned if I let you talk about our stadium like you are a Gator or a Dawg. Neyland held it's own today.

I know Oregon's stadium gets loud, but I wont watch a game and bash their fans from Tennessee.

I don't need to "calm down" any more than Milo needs to back off of the crowd he wasn't a part of.

It was very loud today, not as it would be during a Florida game or something but it was loud. As for Oregon stadium, no way its near as loud as Tennessee, and you can't judge from TV, they turn down the crowd mikes so you can hear the PA guys.

No flaming please.

well yeah know he aint the only one bashing the crowd. Not everyone has the money to fly across the country to go to the football game. If Milo and I could be at the game you could bet you butt that Milo and i would be the loudiest people in that stadium. We know what we heard and we know that The stadium didnt seem to be loud.

Thanks for butting in 2345, but it wasn't even Oregon's stadium that Milo mentioned, it was Oregon St's.

I'll bet you Oregon's stadium IS louder than Neyland most games. The way that stadium is built, makes it VERY loud. But 30,000 Oregon States stadium, can't touch it.

oh man you just called the wrong guy an idiot. Oregon is one of the loudiest stadiums cause the sidelines are not that big. the fans sit right on the sidline basically and there stadium gets crazy loud. Now on that idiot comment you made I will let it slide cause you dont know me, but you just don't go calling me an idiot cause I said oregon's stadium is loud.

May have been different in person, but it sounded dead on TV. The announcers were even commenting on it.

oh ok. See my bad my bad. Still you can ask anyone on here that the stadium was very weak at sometimes.

IT was weak sometimes. BECAUSE THERE WASNT ANYTHING TO CHEER ABOUT.

I said what I said to Milo because he questions the crowd when the Vols needed it. THOSE ARE THE TIMES IT WAS LOUD.

How the hell can you guys sit there all those miles away and pretend to know everything about a crowd you werent a part of.

You aren't right about EVERYTHING you type.

The crowd was loud when it needed to be. As for the booing, if Fulmer and company don't like it, score more and be more aggressive.

I was disgusted with the effort as well, I just chose not to boo.
